Visit the MOFA Website

Open your browser, preferably on a computer, and visit https://visa.mofa.gov.sa/

Change Website Language

Change the website language to English by click on the E Symbol at the top left of the screen

Fill Visa Application query form

Enter your Visa Application number and Iqama ID number. Click on Search

Visa Application Status - In Process

The status of your visa application will be displayed on the screen. If the visa application is in process, the above screen will be shown OR There will be a message لطلب تحت الاجراء (In Process)

Visa Application Status - Rejected

If the visa is rejected, an error message will be displayed.

Common Reasons for Visa Rejection may include
1- Incorrectly filled data
2- Applying for family relations that are not allowed by default
3- Due to Hajj Season
4- Insufficient Iqama Validity - Your Iqama must be valid for at least 2 months at the time of application
5- Incorrect Chamber of Commerce -To avoid rejection, your National Address (Unwan Watani) should match the city where your sponsor/company’s Commercial Registration (CR) is registered. For example, if the company is registered in Jeddah, use a Jeddah-based address for the Chamber attestation
6- Application Language: Always fill out the visa application form in the Arabic version of the website. Do not use the auto-translated English page to avoid errors .
7- Traffic Fines: Ensure there are no fines on your Iqama, as unpaid fines are a common reason for Chamber of Commerce (Ghuraffa) rejection.

In case of rejection, The Visa application process is to be repeated.

Visa Application Status - Approved

If the visa has been issued, you will see Visa details including Visa Number, Applicant Details, Passport Number, and Visa Duration.
